I understand the deep wounds battling through life can leave. I also understand the healing that comes from personal growth and vulnerability.
Therapy can be daunting at times, and it's okay to be hesitant about that. As a therapist, I show up as a real, compassionate person that you can talk to, laugh with, and be skeptical with to approach your growth and your problems in a way that feels both fully human and fully manageable. If you're motivated to grow, open to exploring change, and ready to invest in yourself, then I want to be right there beside you to help you do just that.
Whether you are facing trauma, navigating neurodivergence, exploring questions about gender and sexuality, walking the tightrope of being a caregiver, or going through a life transition, I have to tools to help. I grew up with three siblings on the autism spectrum, and have been a caregiver myself, so I understand the struggles of finding a balance between caring for yourself and others. Let's explore that balance together.
MY BACKGROUND AND APPROACH
I received my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Florida, and am currently a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Registered Intern. I build my approach from evidence-based methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy. I blend these approaches with a humorous, empathetic, and direct style of therapy to create a space full of compassion and honesty, where you never have to worry about being judged.
